Dated 1880, the Alms Houses are a row of three Grade II listed cottages located just outside Betws-y-Coed, in the picturesque and peaceful National Trust village of Ysbyty Ifan.
The village which is dissected by the river Conwy, has an old mill, workshop and a smithy and other historic building which are now owned by the National trust.
In 2009, having stood derelict for many years, the cottages were renovated and furnished to a high standard, whilst sympathetically restoring original features, such as limed walls, oak beams and stone fireplaces.
Shop, pub and restaurant 2.5 miles.
Vaughan & Pant Glas Cottage : All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 4ft double with single bunk above. Shower room with toilet. Solid oak floors throughout.
Knight Cottage: As above but twin zip and link beds in 2nd bedroom.
All three Alms houses can be booked individually or together as a group booking.
